I felt the need for a systematic knowledge of information security

I am involved in the operation and management of a data centre. To ensure the safe operation of the systems entrusted to us by our customers, we have implemented various security measures, including an ISMS. Hence, information security is a big part of my work. However, in order to be able to quickly come up with the right solutions, to new challenges and unexpected situations that arise on a daily basis, I felt that it was necessary to learn information security in a systematic way, including basic knowledge. This is why I decided to enrol in IISEC. This postgraduate course, which offers a wide range of subjects such as law and management, was perfect for that purpose.

I have had opportunities to talk to Prof. Tsujii and Prof. Doi through my work. One of the attractions of IISEC is that I can study directly from such renowned professors. I believe that hearing cutting-edge knowledge and case studies will be useful for me, to solve problems in my work.

I would like to research solutions to problems that arose in my company, using cryptography

I believe that many of the problems that arise in my workplace can be solved securely and efficiently by using cryptography. I would like to study cryptography in depth and find a research topic that can be used to solve problems in my workplace.
