Student Interviews

With a view to standardisation, I am researching the realisation of reliable electronic signatures for business use.

The latest business models that have just been launched will soon become class topics

I am in charge of B2B systems, the main difference from B2C is that the users require very strict legal and institutional backing. IISEC course covers legal interpretations and issues such as "Second Life", "YouTube", and RMT (Real Money Trading) well in advance of the public. Being able to learn about the world's forefront of online business from the leading experts in their field of research is very useful for my work.

Creation of standards to provide a legal basis for electronic signatures

Internal control is a big topic these days. In corporate systems, it is becoming increasingly important to ask "whether the internal data is reliable from a legal point of view." However, the use of electronic data as legal evidence requires a very high degree of integrity and confidentiality. My current research focuses on electronic signatures, a powerful technology for providing such legal evidence. I would like to propose guidelines for building systems using electronic signatures.

Drafting papers in my spare time using a mobile device

The key to balancing work and research is to make the most of your time. During my commute to school, I use my mobile device to draft papers and read materials downloaded from IISEC's website. In this way, I am better prepared to speak up in class. I think it's important to create an environment where it's easy to learn.
