Profile

Associate professor Inaba studied Social and Human Environment at the Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Nagoya University where she earned her PhD (Psychology) in 2006. She became an adjunct researcher at the National Traffic Safety and Environment Laboratory in 2005, and an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Information Systems, University of Electro-Communications in 2006. She also became a visiting researcher in the department of psychology at City, University of London in 2009. She has been a researcher at Safety Research Laboratory, R&D centre, East Japan Railway Company since 2013. Her research theme is the study of systems and mechanisms that support desirable behaviour with regard to information security. She is a member of the Japanese Psychological Association, Information Processing Society of Japan, and The Japan Association of Applied Psychology. She is also an editorial board member of IPSJ Journal, a member of the Human Factors Section in Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan, a management committee member of IPSJ Security Psychology & Trust, an expert committee member of Transport Safety Board in Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and a member of Cyber Security Human Resource Development Subcommittee in Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.
