Profile

Professor Murakami graduated from faculty of law at Keio University, and completed master’s and doctoral program of graduate school of law at Keio University and doctoral program of graduate school of information security at Institute of Information Security. After working as a full-time lecturer, an associate professor, and a professor at Tokyo University of Technology, he is currently a professor at Institute of Information Security. He has served as a part-time lecturer at Keio University Shonan Fujisawa Campus, as a chairperson and member of governmental committees including those of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, and as a director of the Information Network Law Association. Currently, he is a member of ISO/IEC JTC1 SC27/WG5.
